Which hands benefit from the AoF jackpot?

Only hands that can complete a straight flush have jackpot equity. That means suited connectors (98s, 87s, 76s…), one-gappers (T8s, 97s…) and small suited two-gappers pick up value that static charts don't price in. Off-suit hands and disconnected suited hands get no jackpot bonus.

Why the jackpot expands your shove range

Every jackpot-eligible hand gains a small amount of $-EV proportional to the jackpot size. That $-EV clears the fold threshold on hands that were previously break-even. Result: your shove and call ranges get wider as the jackpot grows.

Multiway overcalls are the biggest jackpot win

The jackpot pays regardless of how many players are all-in, but more players means more chances to hit the required flop. Multiway overcalls with jackpot-eligible hands are systematically undervalued by standard push/fold charts.
