AoF Ranges

AoF Ranges by Position

The complete set of All-in or Fold ranges — CO, BTN, SB and BB — solved for 8BB play and adjusted live for the current jackpot value.

CO Open Shove range

Widest of the four openers. All pocket pairs, all suited aces, most broadways and every suited connector 76s+ are default shoves. Off-suit K-Q and K-J shove; K-T and Q-J shove at higher jackpot values.

BTN Open Shove & Call vs CO

BTN over-shoves marginally wider than CO because SB and BB are still to act. When CO shoves, BTN calls a polarised range — big pocket pairs, big suited aces, big broadways. Small suited connectors are folds vs a CO shove.

SB Open Shove & Call ranges

SB shoves a linear range vs BB. Vs a CO or BTN shove, SB calls a tighter, polarised range. Vs CO + BTN (both all-in), SB tightens further and starts to include jackpot-motivated suited-connector overcalls.

BB Call & multiway overcall ranges

BB defends widest of anyone because it already has 1BB in the pot. Multiway pots amplify BB's defence — pot odds improve as more players commit chips.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often do these ranges change?

As the jackpot value moves. Border hands (suited connectors, small suited aces, K-highs) shift in and out of the shove range at different jackpot values. Static ranges give you the average; JTO gives you the live answer.

Can I see every hand's individual EV?

Yes — every cell in the range grid opens to show shove EV, fold EV and call EV in big blinds.

Are these ranges valid for MTTs at 8BB?

No. AoF ranges assume symmetric 8BB stacks with no future decisions. MTTs at 8BB have ICM and position pressure that push ranges tighter.
